While you were sleeping,
The world was turning.
While you were waking,
mists were thinning
and the sun was rising.
While your coffee was brewing,
plants were feeling,
the warmth of a new day,
unfurling,
their fronds and
greening
slowly.
Almost imperceptably.
While you prepare for and execute
all of your daily routines,
there is a lifening going on
all around.
Oh how well you play with words, and I love it. I arose "lifening" this morning. I hope you did as well.
