Sunday, 05/16/10 - All The World's Weekend's A Stage

The weekend was spend photographing plays and concerts.

Friday night was the Players Kids performance of Jack and the Giant.

There was a large cast of kids.



Jack and a cow.



A troll.



And, of course, a Giant.



Saturday night was DIVERSITY: The Voices of Sarasota's performance at the Sarasota Opera House.

The chorus during the the first part of the show.



And after the intermission they performed selections from Sing For The Cure. They will be traveling to NY to perform Sing For The Cure at Carnegie Hall.



There were full chorus numbers, solos and a duet that rocked the house!



Even though this is a vocal performance, one of the things I enjoy most is the emotion that Janine McCarthy puts into her sign language interpretations.




Today it is back to the Players Theatre to photograph the Players Teens performance of Anne of Green Gables.

SO, yes, all the weekend's a stage!
