Sometimes, I get so focused
on what I am doing.
Looking around.
Looking down.
Loooking sideways.
But most often
looking up.
It's a wonder
that I don't
bump into things
or into people.
It's a wonder
that with all of my looking up
that I don't
fall down.
Thanks for reminding me of perspective. Looking only in one direction thwarts one's seeing the world from others' perspectives. We must use our senses to perceive the most from every situation: hearing, tasting, smelling, and seeing all around us. Only then are we truly "humanly being."
