There is a lot about this image that I like:

• The subtle color of the door


• The bold color of the rust


• The parallel lines of the doorframe


• The curved lines of the door


• The shadows


• The highlights

There is a sense of both permanence and passage
Of stasis and motion.

And all some people
are able to see
is a rusty door hinge.
